Rental Conditions
An international driving license is not required to rent a car. The driver must be at least 23 years old and have had a driving license for at least 2 years.

The rental price includes delivery of the car to the hotel in the morning on the day of rental (we confirm the time when booking or the day before the rental) or to the airport. Pick-up from the hotel or airport. Full insurance, no excess, we do not charge a deposit or block funds on the card.

The lessor covers the petrol costs. The tank of the rented car is filled to a certain level and the car must be returned with the same. The tank level is indicated in the contract drawn up with the rental company.
What should you remember
while driving?
Using GPS often ends up “in the woods” or “in the fields”, which means that the places you want to go are not always correctly marked on the map. Many places in Rhodes do not have a street name and number, which makes it difficult to find them. Fortunately, the most important attractions have been in the same place for hundreds of years.
Please remember to wear a seat belt while driving and not use a mobile phone by the driver. The fine for this last offense costs 500 EUR. Driving under the influence of alcohol is not recommended. The law allows a small blood alcohol level limit (0.2 mg/ml), but in the event of damage, our condition can work to our disadvantage.
Parking
In most hotels, parking is possible in the hotel car park. If not, the hotel security should indicate a convenient place.
Car parks on the island are free, with the exception of Lindos and Rhodes.
Car parks in Rhodes City marked with a blue line are paid, a parking meter is located a short distance away. The yellow line means no parking, in places marked with a white line you can park.
In Rhodes, you can leave your car at the port of Akantia and take a free bus to the city centre, which runs regularly, or take a walk (of course, if the temperatures allow it). The beautiful, partly completely new promenade along the sea offers beautiful views and “steps” for the collection (previously it was simply written calories burned).
